GCSE and A Level Science qualifications include required practicals that must be completed and recorded by the centre. Private candidates typically have no access to a laboratory — we can arrange appropriate facilities and supervision.

What the practical assessment involves
For A Level, candidates must complete a set of required practicals defined by the awarding body. These are logged in a lab book and assessed internally. The result is reported as a Practical Endorsement (Pass/Not Classified) on the final certificate.
