How to book
- Complete the online application with your details and preferred date
- We confirm availability and send an invoice
- Pay £210 in full to secure your slot
- We register you in Trinity's MyTrinity system
- You receive a confirmation email directly from Trinity College London
- Arrive at least 1 hour before your start time with valid photo ID
2 weeks minimum notice required. Book early — slots are limited and fill quickly around university application deadlines.
What to expect on exam day
Check in at reception and complete registration before your session begins.
Passport or equivalent required. No ID, no entry — no exceptions.
Computers, headsets and all required materials are supplied. Leave your phone at the door.
All candidates in a session start simultaneously. Late arrivals may not be admitted.
Extra time, scribes and other arrangements available. Contact us at least 2 weeks before your exam.
Digital certificate delivered via Trinity's portal — shareable as a link, PDF or QR code.
Common questions
Can I choose my CEFR level before the exam?
No — ISE Digital is fully adaptive. The system determines and adjusts your level automatically throughout the exam. There is nothing to pre-select.
Is ISE Digital accepted for UK visa or settlement applications?
No. ISE Digital at Ark Exam Centre is not approved for visa or settlement purposes. Please contact us if you need guidance on UKVI-approved alternatives.
How long is the certificate valid?
ISE Digital certificates are generally accepted within 2 years of issue. Always confirm directly with the institution or employer, as requirements vary.
Can I resit if I'm unhappy with one skill?
Yes. You can retake any single module within 90 days of your original exam for £90, without needing to resit all four skills.
Do I need to bring my own equipment?
No. All computers, headsets and materials are provided at the centre. Personal devices are not permitted in the exam room.
Can I take ISE Digital remotely?
No. ISE Digital at Ark Exam Centre must be taken in person at our Ilford centre under supervised conditions.
What is your cancellation policy?
All fees are non-refundable. No cancellations are accepted once a booking is confirmed. Please ensure you can attend on your chosen date before paying.
